A live office energy system that helps teams see what is running, understand electricity use, and receive timely alerts through the dashboard and Discord.
The problem
The challenge
Energy waste was visible only after the bill arrived.
Fans and lights could stay on after people left the office, but the team had no shared live view of what was running. By the time waste appeared on the bill, the cause was difficult to trace.
What we changed
The key decision
Give the dashboard and Discord one source of truth.
We designed one trusted office state for every interface. Live updates, energy calculations, alerts, and Discord responses all use the same verified snapshot, preventing conflicting information.

VoltMind shows room and device status, current power use, trends, and active alerts in a responsive dashboard. It also sends useful, non-repeating notifications to Discord when operation looks wasteful.

- Server-Sent Events keep browser state current without repeated manual refreshes.
- Alert deduplication prevents repeated Discord notifications for the same condition.
- Gemini may improve response wording but never generates device data or changes state.
