Privacy Policy
Effective date: 14 August 2026
This policy explains how DevTork Studio, based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, handles personal information when you visit devtork.com, contact us, or submit a project inquiry. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@devtork.com.
Information we collect
When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include:
- your name and email address;
- your company or organisation;
- the service, budget range, and timeline you select; and
- your project message and any other information you include in it.
Our contact endpoint also processes your IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting. Web hosting and infrastructure providers may process basic request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and timestamps, in ordinary server and security logs.
Browser storage
The contact form temporarily saves unfinished form fields in your browser's session storage so your draft is not lost while you navigate or edit it. This draft remains on your device, is removed after a successful submission, and is normally cleared when the browser session ends.
How and why we use information
We use personal information to:
- review and respond to inquiries;
- prepare and discuss a possible project;
- deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website and contact service;
- prevent spam, abuse, and repeated automated submissions; and
- keep records where reasonably needed for business, accounting, dispute, or legal purposes.
We process inquiry information with your consent and where necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. We may also process limited technical information to protect the website and comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent by contacting us, without affecting processing that already occurred lawfully.
Service providers and transfers
Contact submissions are delivered through our configured Google Gmail account using Nodemailer. The website also uses hosting and infrastructure providers, Google Fonts for typography, and CARTO-hosted map resources on the contact page. These providers may receive information such as your IP address and request metadata when their services load or when an inquiry is delivered. Some providers may process information outside Bangladesh under their own privacy terms and applicable safeguards.
We do not sell personal information or use contact-form information for unrelated advertising.
Cookies and analytics
The current website does not include advertising cookies or an analytics service. It uses session storage only for the contact-form draft described above. If analytics, advertising, or other tracking technology is added, we will update this policy and add consent controls where required before using it.
Retention
Contact-form IP rate-limit records are held in server memory for approximately ten minutes. Successfully submitted inquiries may remain in our business email and records only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or active project, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required for those purposes.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet or email transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, health information, or other sensitive data in the project form.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, update, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Email hello@devtork.com with enough information for us to identify and respond to your request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
Children
This business website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through the project inquiry form. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact us to request its deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, our providers, or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the latest version.
